SLANIC MOLDOVA RESORT

The tourist resort is located at an altitude of 530 meters on the eastern side of the Eastern Carpathians, in a depression crossed by Slanic river.

Therapeutic indications: diseases of the digestive system (hypoacid, chronic and hyperacid gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic colitis), disease of the respiratory ways, biliary disease (biliary dyskinesia, cholecystitis), nutrition and metabolic diseases, neurological peripherals dideases, post - trauma affections, damage to kidneys and urinary tract, associated diseases (degenerative rheumatism or osteoarthritis, heart disease, endocrinology, gynecology, occupational diseases, asthenic neurosis).

Slanic Moldova resort is known thanks to its sources of carbonated, bicarbonated, slightly sulphurous, sodium, chlorinated, hypertonic, hypotonic and oligomineral waters, springs discovered in 1801. In 1852, the first chemical tests were performed, and in 1877 appeared the spa installations. Over time, the quality of mineral water found here was confirmed by obtaining medals at international exhibitions in Paris, Vienna, Frankfurt / Main etc. Specialists compared them with mineral water from Karlovy Vary, Vichy, Aix-les-Bains etc.

By car: from Miercurea Ciuc or Onesti to Targu Ocna on DN 12A, from Bacau or Brasov on DN 11 to Onesti then Targu Ocna - Slanic Moldova on DN 12B;
By train: railway station Slanic Moldova (Targu Ocna Salina) on the line Adjud - Ciceu then by bus up to the resort;
